A tankless water heater does not store hot water. When you open a hot tap, cold water runs through a heat exchanger, the burner fires, and the water comes out hot for as long as the tap stays open. Close the tap and the unit shuts off.
That is where the endless hot water comes from, and it is also where the limit is. A tankless unit is sized by how many gallons a minute it can heat at once, not by how much it holds. Get the size right and nobody in the house notices it. Get it wrong and the shower goes lukewarm when the dishwasher starts. Sizing is the part we take the most care over.

Will a tankless water heater run out of hot water?
Not the way a tank does. It heats water as it flows, so it will not run dry partway through a shower. What it can do is fall behind if more hot water is asked of it at once than it was sized for, which is why we size it carefully.
Is tankless worth the extra cost?
It depends on the house. Tankless suits homes with heavy or overlapping hot water use, or where space is tight. For a small household that rarely runs out, a good tank is often the better value. We will tell you honestly which applies to yours.
How long does a tankless installation take?
Longer than a like-for-like tank swap, because a tankless unit mounts differently and has different gas and venting requirements than the tank it replaces. Where the new unit calls for it, we upsize the gas line and update the venting as part of the job. We will give you a realistic time frame with your estimate.
Do you pull the permit?
Yes. We pull the permit for the water heater installation. It is part of the job, not something we hand back to you.

Do you charge for an estimate?
No. We give free estimates on all jobs.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer financing through Affirm. The invoice we send you carries an option to pay over time instead of all at once, and Affirm sets the terms.
